On Monday, February 27, 2012, we conducted our first Google Apps for Education training at the San Diego County Office of Education.  We had over 40 employees from our LRET (Learning Resources and Educational Technology) division attend the 2 hour training. Feedback from employees at SDCOE stated that they felt the  transition to Google Apps for Education would be a seamless one and many people felt comfortable with the applications since they have been working with their own personal Gmail accounts and apps. We are excited to begin training our own employees and will offer weekly office hours support throughout the Spring.  Our next school district training is schedule for Warner Springs School District. Joe and I will be conducting an all day training covering Google Apps for Education as well as teaching with technology techniques.  This is an exciting time for SDCOE.
